This is a yearbook for the Worthington Garden Club during their 40th year. The slogan listed for the yearbook, "Sharing Ideas" was reflected in a variety of monthly programs, including practical gardening tips such as "Pests and Their Control" as well as "Visit Your Neighbor's Garden". The annual garden show theme was "Flight with Flowers" with entries in the artistic division honoring individuals involved in flight such as the Wright Brothers and Captain Eddie Rickenbacker. The theme was fitting for the year, as space flight Apollo 11 was the first crew of astronauts to walk on the moon in July 1969.
