This photograph was taken at the presentation of an award for Christmas decorations at the Worthington Barber Shop at 669 High Street for a 1980 contest sponsored by the Worthington Historical Society. Pictured are Janet Oberliesen, the organizer of the contest for the Worthingoton Historical Society; Carol Kopf, a local artist who made a watercolor rendering of the Barber Shop for the prize, Sandy and Dick Hootman, owners of the Worthington Barber Shop, and Gordon Clark, president of the Worthington Historical Society. The Worthington News article printed in the December 18th, 1980 paper states, "The Hootmans used evergreens, pinecones, nuts and fresh crarnberries to accent their doorway with natural goods typical of Ohio's early celebrations."
