Background

Kindergarten classes at Bluffsview Elementary School learned about portraiture during the 2002-2003 school year as part of the school's Worthington Bicentennial Arts Project. Students learned about the role of portraiture in early Ohio and Worthington, prior to the invention of photography. Students then created their own portraits which were showcased during Bluffsview's Bicentennial Arts Open House May 1, 2003.
