Background

This program was provided by the Worthington Progressive Euchre Club for its second social cotillion at the residence of Dr. William W. Bickett. Dr. Bickett lived and practiced medicine in the house at the northeast corner of Berlin and Main Streets, now known as New England Avenue and High Street. The program indicates the event took place on "Thursday, September 31st, 1885," presumably October 1st. The inside of the program lists 20 dances with spaces for names, mostly waltzes and quadrilles.
