Samuel J. Matchett Jr., age 73 of Bexley, Sunday, Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Retired engineer. Survived by son, Samuel J. Matchett III; daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Nathaniel Thompson; grandchildren, Samuel J. IV, Brian and Wendy Matchett and Stephan Thompson. Funeral service Wednesday, July 31, 11 a.m. Schoedinger State Street Chapel, where friends may call Tuesday 7-9 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
