B. C. Foster Dies At Stafford Ave. Home

Birchard Charles Foster, past commander of Leasure Blackston Post, American Legion, died Thursday, June 16, at his home, 136 W. Stafford Avenue. Although only 64 years old, he had led an active and useful life. He was a retired salesman for Scott Foresman and Co. He was a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church: New England Lodge No. 4. F& and the Ohio Bookmen's Association. He was the first national president of Professional Bookmen of America.

Surviving are his wife, Jane; two sons, Birchard, Jr. of 217 E. Stafford, and Robert of Columbus: also two grandchildren. Corbin's Funeral Home had charge of the funeral service on June 18, with burial following in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
