W.H.S. Nineteen twenty-one
Basic details
Background
This is the 1921 yearbook for Worthington High School. Helen Robinson was principal and Vance M. Smith was superintendent of Worthington schools.
The yearbook features individual senior class photos, group photos for grades nine through eleven and portraits of faculty. Sports teams are pictured in group photos.
In 1921, the high school was housed in the Packard Annex, which had been built in 1916 and served as the high school until 1952 when a new school was built to accommodate the post-World War II population boom. Designed by Columbus architect Frank Packard, the Annex is the current site of the Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center.
