Obituary

Ocea B. Putman, age 90, Monday, March 7, 1994 in Arvin, Calif. Mrs. Putman was born in Wagoner, Okla, right after the turn of the century and later moved to Ohio where she worked ina bookstore at the Ohio State College while a resident in Columbus. For the past 20 years she lived in Arvin , Calif. And has been involved in community organizations, local clubs and the O.E.S. She was very involved in the VFW branch in light of the fact that her husband, from whom she was widowed in 1947, was a veteran.

Survived by 2 nephews, Douglas Bailey, San Diego, Calif., & Edward Bailey, Iuberry Calif.; niece Jean Hathaway, Redding, Calif; numerous great-nephews, nieces, & friends. Widow of Roy M. Putman.

Funeral service 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 1994 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 515 High Str., Worthington, Oh. Rev. Robert K. Chiles officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
