Obituary

Ward Marilyn J. Ward, age 67, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Preceded in death by parents Pat and Rose (Buty) Ward. Marilyn was a graduate of Columbus North High School and The Ohio State University with a B.A. in social sciences. She was employed by AT&T and retired as Senior Organization Development Consultant for Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs. Marilyn was a member of Leadership Columbus and served on the Board of Leadership Worthington. As an avid reader, Marilyn often described herself as a fount of useless knowledge. She is survived by her loving sister and brother-in-law, Carole and David Strickland; nephew, Adam Strickland; Joseph Strickland, Mary-Jane Strickland, Kelley Strickland, Jessica McDonald; other relatives and friends; good friends, Vicki (Jim) Schmid and Cheryl Malone. Private Family Service will be held. Arrangements by RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085.
