Obituary

Margaret Charline Walker Neds, age 97, died Tuesday November 1, 1994 at the Willow Brook Christian Home. She was born December 31, 1896 in White County, Ind. To the last Benjamin Rufus and Minnie Ellen (Aikin) Walker. She married Adrian Arnold Neds on October 1, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband and brothers Robert, Earl, Orman and Dale Walker. She retired from Harding Sanitarium in 1966. She has been a member of the Worthington Chapter, DAR. She was also a member of the Worthington Chapter #287 OES and the Salvation Army. She is survived by daughters, Ellen Neds, Euclid, Sally (Dave) Haxton, Westerville and Margaret (Bruce) Briggs, Denton, Tex.; son, A. Eugene (Elizabeth) Neds, Marysville; grandchildren, Alison Haxton, Suzanne (George) Chrismer, Steve (Heather) Haxton, Gordon (Diane) Briggs, Jeff (Karen) Briggs, Paul (Connie) Briggs, Kathleen Neds, Keith (Joy) Neds, Kimberly (Dave) Schmidt, Kyle (Carolyn) Neds; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Bessie Meola, Charleston, S.C.; sister-in-law, Alice Neds, Dublin; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday November 3, 1994 at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Dr. Philip M. Hazelton will officiate and interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and one hour preceding the service Thursday.
