James E. Spangler, age 65, of 355 Selby Blvd. South, Friday , Riverside Hospital. Project Coordinator for Columbus Coated Fabrics. Survived by wife, Blanche; son, Jerry Spangler, at home; daughter, Mrs. Richard (Judy) Puppel, of Columbus; sister, Mrs. Fred (Tirzah) Reid, of Columbus; several nieces and nephews. Veteran of World War II, member of the 40 year club of Columbus Coated Fabrics. Service 11:30 a.m. Monday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. Walter R. Young officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Those who wish may contribute to the Columbus Cancer Clinic.
