Obituary

Ethel (Jean) S. Walker, age 64, 194 Abbot Avenue, passed away in Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Fla. Served as French teacher in Worthington Public Schools from 1967 - 1979. Had Taught previously at Alliance, Niles & Sandusky Public Schools. She was a graduate of Mt. Union College, was affiliated with Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and had done graduate study at Syracuse University, Western Reserve University, and the Ohio State University. Survived by husband Byron; daughter Martha Dunn, Mountain View, Calif. sons John of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, and James of San Francisco, Calif.; her mother Mrs. W.C. McCallum, of Carrollton, Kentucky; and 3 sisters Mary Broberg, Carrollton, Ky., Beth Moore, Hollywood, Calif., & Ruth McKenna, of State College, Pennsylvania. A memorial service was held, Saturday, March 7th at the Worthington Christian Church. She was buried at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
