Allison Eloise Medley Allison, age 100, of Columbus, died peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Wesley Glen Retirement Community. Born in Hickman County, KY to N.M. and Mary Medley. Longtime member and former parish secretary at Trinity Episcopal Church. Member of the Worthington Chapter - Daughters of the American Revolution and the Arlington Unit of The Women's Symphony Organization. An avid amateur photographer, Eloise traveled around the world on camera safaris with her gypsy friends. Preceded in death by husband James Ralph Allison, son George B. Allison, great-grandson Noah B. Allison. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, James M. "Monte" and Donna Allison of Woodbridge, VA; daughter, Janet M. Allison of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Ralph (Jane) and Robert Allison of Virginia, Pamela (Michael) Goretzky of Munich, Germany and Barbara Allison of Alabama; great-grandchildren, Michael (Misty), Kevin and Kristen Allison and Emilia Goretzky; great-great-grandchildren, Zoey and Zach Allison; niece, Linda (Eric) Nelson. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 East Broad Street, Columbus. The Reverend Richard Burnett officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
