Obituary

Burke A. Conklin, age 90, of 316 W. Case Ave., Powell, Ohio, Saturday in University Hospital. Retired painting contractor. Survived by 3 sons, Harold of Arlington Heights, Illinois, William of Grand Junction, Colorado, Edward of Gahanna; 2 daughters, Mrs. Marion Williams of Columbus and Mrs. Maxine Adkins of Westerville; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Leota Miller of Grove City. Member of Powell United Methodist Church and veteran of WWI. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. Wilbur Vorhis officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Powell United Methodist Church Building Fund.
