Obituary

Donald V. Jacobs, age 67, June 30, 1997, Riverside Methodist Hospital. Previously employed by Dresser IDECO, later years self employed Ranft & Jacobs. Member of American Legion Post #430. Veteran Korean Conflict, US. Army, Sergeant. Preceded in death by mother and frather, brother Gerald, nephew Joey McKown. Survived by sons Craig (Jennifer) Jacobs, John (Beth Jacobs; grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica and Savannah; sister, Shirley (Newwll) Chaney; brother Richard C. (Linda); sister-in-law Hazel (Zeig) Janes. Memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jerry Sprars Funeral Home, 2693 W. Broad St. Graveside service and interment 10 a.m. Thursday, Flint Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
