This photograph captures the 50th class reunion of WHS class of 1937 when they gathered in 1987. Pictured standing are Robert "Mike" Merrill, Dana Alshire, Bill Nesser, Helen Smiley, Joseph Edwards, and Fred Egelhoff. Seated are Clarabel Spafford, Roberta Gibson, Natalie Kauffman, Irene Allerton, Alberta Mihelsic, and Lois Bowers. A May 13th, 1937 "Worthington News" article indicated that the class of 1937 was the largest ever to graduate from Worthington High School to date, with 38 students graduating.
