Background

To facilitate communication among the members of the growing Congregation Beth Tikvah, a newsletter was started (1962). At first, the newsletter had no title, but soon it was named "Tikvah Topics". Tikvah Topics kept members informed about a wide range of activities. The first issue listed religious services for the coming month, the upcoming community seder (to be held at the Ohio State Fairgrounds), and the activities of the Sisterhood. It also reported the momentous news of the acquisition of a new building. Beth Tikvah moved to 3199 Indianola Avenue in 1968, and in 1979 purchased land on Olentangy River Road in Worthington and moved into that building in 1980.
