Background

This photograph was taken on May 24th, 1996 when three of Frank and Edith Lewis Corbin's daughters visted the Worthington Historical Society's Old Rectory to reminisce about their lives in Worthington. Pictured are Jane Trucksis, curator of the Worthington Historical Society, Tish Corbin Ortega, Susie Corbin, Caroline Corbin-Wilton and Kay Van Meter, Society Director. The Corbins grew up in the Demas Adams House on the southwest quadrant of the Village Green. They are pictured here with a quilt that features 24 Worthington landmarks made by their mother Edith as a Bicentennial project in 1978. The quilt now is on permanent exhibit at the Old Rectory at 50 West New England Avenue, which serves as the Worthington Historical Society's administrative offices, archives and museum.
