Background

The Old Rectory, which currently houses the offices, gift shop and doll museum of the Worthington Historical Society was moved to its present location at 50 West New England Avenue in July of 1978. It is pictured here being transported southbound on High Street through the business district by BRH Inc. Movers. At least 200 spectators turned out in the middle of the night to watch the event.
