The Larson family built their home in the Worthington Estates neighborhood in 1964 and family members still live there to this day. The neighborhood, located north of Old Worthington and extending west from High Street to the Olentangy River, was part of a post-World War II housing boom in Worthington. Its first homes were built in 1962, and the neighborhood was an attractive option for families with young children.
