Holly Blake, Rachel Alexander and Bob Foulk at Wedding at the Old Worthington Library
Basic details
Background
This color photograph shows, from left to right, Holly Blake, Rachel Alexander and Bob Foulk standing on the main floor of the Old Worthington Library. They are there for Alexander's and Foulk's wedding, which took place at the library on May 8, 1982. Blake holds a bouquet and the three smile at the camera; behind them are bookshelves and the archway leading to the stairs to the lower level; several other attendees can be seen in the background as well.
At the time, the Old Worthington Library was the only location of Worthington Libraries. The wedding took place that evening after the library closed, with food provided by staff and Worthington mayor Lawrence Braun serving as officiant.
Holly Blake worked for the library's circulation department from 1975-79.
Alexander worked for Worthington Libraries from 1976 to 1985, and again from 1997 to 2008; during that time she served many roles, including community services librarian, children’s librarian, youth services manager and youth services materials selector.
