One of many events that the Worthington Historical Society has sponsored over the years is depicted here. Bill Parker carves pumpkins on the grounds of the Orange Johnson House Museumfor a Halloween party. The practice of carving gourds is of Scottish and Irish origin and is now an American tradition.
