This is a photograph of Crissa Johnson Maynard (b. 1792, d. 1847), the sister of early prominent businessman, Orange Johnson. She migrated from Connecticut to Worthington, Ohio with her brother in 1814. Their parents were William Johnson (b. 1759, d. 1816) and Mary Knox Johnson. Crissa married Moses Maynard Jr. (b. 1792, d. 1862), the brother of Orange Johnson's wife Achsa. Moses Maynard Jr., son of Moses Maynard Sr. (b. 1755, d. 1834) migrated to Ohio from Massachusetts.
