Victor F. Laird, age 80, of Columbus, Friday, January 8, 1999. Preceded in death by wife Virginia Grant Laird. Survived by wife, Dorothy Bowers Laird; daughters, Nancy Vermaaten, Linda (George) Wall and Carrie Bowers; grandchildred, Hans Vermaaten, Grant Wall, Gretchen (Lee) Frazier; greatgranddaughter, Virginia Marie Frazier. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church. Retired from Columbia Gas of Ohio after 35 years. Veteran WWII, U.S. Army. Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 1999 at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St. Worthington, OH. Rev. Amy Palmer officiating. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
