Obituary

Richard M. (Dick) Barton, of Clintonville, born October 26, 1917 on Columbus St. in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Friday, Jue 25, 1993, Mayfair Village Nursing Center. Survived by wife, Dorothy; sons, Lawrence R. (Donna) of Akron, Oh., Donald H. of Minneapolis, Minn.; daugher, Elaine Gairston (Alan) of Worthington, Oh.; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Veteran WW II, U.S. Coast Guard. Graduate of South High School and Capital University. He formerly taught at Hilliard High School. Retired from the Borden Co. Member of Maple Grove U.M. Church, where he sang in the choir for 40 years, and S.P.E.B.O.S. in America. Volunteer, Riverside Hospital and former volunteer of Meals on Wheels.
