Spence; father of Richard Thomas Spence, 1651 Candlelight Ln., Westerville and Dr. David Starr Spence, Bend, Ore.; brother of Yeoman Spence, Columbus; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive. Friends may call Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. WEIR-AREND CHAPEL, 4221 N. High St. where service will be 10 a.m. Friday. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
