Herbert T. Atkeson, age 91, of Columbus, Sunday, March 29, 1998. Sales Engineer retired from Clark Grave Valut. Clock designer after retirement. Born March 19, 1907 on Lawnvale Farm in Vuffalo, W. Va. Preceded in death by wife Clare French Atkeson, grandson Brian K. Powell, brother Karl Atkeson and sister Elizabeth Evans and Pauline Adams. Survived by daughter, Mary A. (Bruce) Powell of Worthington; grandchildren David T. (Eve) Powell and Deborah D. Powell; sisters Virginia (George) Ramsden and Frances Smith; sister-in-law Eleanor Atkeson; special friend, Carole Fay. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 3, 1998 at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
