ZIMMERMAN Harry G. Zimmerman, age 78, of Worthington, Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Laurels of Norworth. Preceded in death by brothers Rowland, Carl, William, sister Gertrude Sekinger. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Betty Jane; son, Howard (Diane) of Grove City; daughter, Barbara (Scott) Saffell of Worthington; grandsons, Sean and Brian Saffell of Worthington, Eric Zimmerman of Grove City; brother, Al (Ann) Zimmerman of California. Veteran WW II, U.S. Navy. Life member of Leasure-Blackston Post #239 American Legion; past Commander of 12th District, life member V.F.W. Post 2398; former member Worthington Police Reserve. Retired from AT&T and the OSU football communications system. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2005 at Linworth United Methodist Church, 7070 Bent Tree Blvd. Dr. H. Eugene Folden officiating. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
