Dorothy (Dowden) Taylor, Age 85, of Wesley Glen, Formerly of 184 Westview Ave., Sunday, December 14, 1997 at Riverside Hospital. Survived by husband, James M. Taylor; children, Sally (Robert) Yocum, Sue (Norman) Edwards and Richard Taylor; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Louise) Dowden. 45 year Member Worthington Methodist Church and Worthington United Methodist Women. Member Corinthian Chapter #393 O.E.S. for 67 years, Children's Hospital Twig #131 for over 30 years. Child Conservation League, Worthington Women's Club, Worthington Historical Society. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 1997 at Worthington United Methodist Church with Rev. Barbara Sholis officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington with O.E.S. service at 7:30 p.m. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at Worthington United Methodist Church.
