Clare F. Atkeson, age 68, 1976 W. Granville Rd., Tuesday, at home. Retired from Doctor's Hospital North. Survived by husband, Herbert T., Worthington; daughter, Mrs. Bruce W. (Mary) Powell, Riverlia, Oh.; grandchildren, Brian, David and Debra Powell; brothers, Delbert French, South Charleston W. VA., Leah French, Ripley, W. VA., Roy French, Milford, W. VA.; sisters Faye Bowles , Ripley, W. VA., Mrs. Thomas (Lola) Stone, Ripley, W. VA., Edith Moore, Akron, Oh., Bernice McGrew, Norfold, VA.; several nieces and nephews. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church. Service 2:30 p.m. Thursday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington, Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-8 p.m. Wednesday.
